This is an under floor frame mount pedal; which includes brackets and pedal assembly for mounting a power booster and master cylinder to your frame. Also included is a high quality 7 dual booster and master cylinder combo. This is not a direct fit pedal, so some modification may be needed depending on your application; it is a nice starting point for a lot of these trucks that don’t have a direct fit option out there. The dual diaphragm booster gives you 27% better stopping power over the single booster, making it better for cars that will have a heavier load. This setup is ready for all disc/drum applications. The master cylinder is a Corvette style master cylinder with a 1 bore. Additionally this includes a pair of residual brake pressure valves. One is the 2 Pound Pressure Valve (Blue) for Front Disc Brakes and one is the 10 pound pressure valve (red) for rear drum brakes. These valves are used with a disc brake application where the master cylinder is located under the floor. When the master cylinder is under the floor, it is usually lower than the calipers. This kit includes a pedal assembly designed for 1948 1949 1950 1951 & 1952 Ford trucks. The pedal is designed to bolt to the original spot on the frame underneath the floor. Also included is a high quality 7 dual booster and master cylinder combo & the valves necessary for a disc drum setup. This kit is ready for disc/drum applications. The 7 dual power booster offers 27% better stopping power over the 7 single booster for improved stopping, performance and safety. The Corvette style master cylinder has a 1 bore and four ports (two on each side) for easier installation. Includes plugs for the ports you don’t. This includes a a self adjusting disc drum proportioning valve and a 10# & 2# residual valve. Residual valves are necessary when using a master cylinder below the brake calipers to prevent fluid bleedback.
