In excellent conditions almost new, modified so a single pedal could be used as the auxiliary pedal or use them both as a single pedals. Please be aware that the auxiliary pedal was originally a single pedal, still can be used as a single pedal if you want just to be able to use it as auxiliary you will need to take off the spring and attach the double pedal bracket side on it… In order so the double pedal connection bar can be used on this setup, one of the sides holes was modified to be round, so it will fit the round stud on the singlen pedal, the other side still have the half moon which goes and fit into the main double pedal. 60s Rogers R-360 (first gen. MIJ) Double Soul 5-piece drum set with hardware
1960s Rogers R-360 (first generation made in Japan) “Double Soul” 5-piece drum set with hardware. Beautifully restored kit in Delmar aged white marine pearl. Sizes are 14×20, 8×12, 9×13,5×14,16×16. 5 ply Birch/Luan shells (Yamaha- see photos of attached history info) were completely stripped, cleaned, re wrapped and refinished as necessary. Bass drum bottom side original wrap piece was retained. Edges are all in excellent condition (see photos), drums tune up easily and sound great with new Remo coated emperor batter heads and Remo clear ambassador resonant heads. Original heads are also included. Hardware cleaned and polished. Original felts present in all lugs, some pitting is present as expected on a 50-year-old set of drums. More photos available if necessary. All original pieces other than floor tom legs, floor leg bracket thumb screws, 6 bracket attaching screws & washers and two floor tom lug mounting screws. Original floor tom legs are included. Early first-generation version has oval foil badges, later first gen has tack on oval badges. There were two foil badges (see photo) like the one on the snare present when I got the kit. I have also acquired one tack on oval badge that is included. The snare clearly has some Rogers design parts on it. It, like any cos steel 5×14 snare it can be tuned many ways based on head choice, tensions etc. Also included is the original foot pedal, snare stand, hi hat stand, straight 48 cymbal stand. All pieces are in very nice condition. I have included screenshots of some information about the history of this Rogers kit. It is interesting information of the time, places and people involved in the design and production of the R-360 line. Thank you for looking.
