These Pearl pedals were used for only a few hours. Several months ago I decided to upgrade to double bass pedals. After reading various reviews I narrowed my choices down to these and the Tama Speed Cobras. Some people prefer the Pearl and some people like the Tamas. I happen to prefer the Tama pedals although I can see if you are a person who plays super fast you might these. The black on the beaters is from my rubber faced Roland kick pad but they are in very good shape. Please ask any questions. I have looked around the auctions and think these are priced to sell!
