TAMA Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide Single Bass Drum Pedal Dark Shadow Edition

TAMA Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide Single Bass Drum Pedal Dark Shadow Edition

TAMA Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide Single Bass Drum Pedal – Dark Shadow Edition. The Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide single bass drum pedal brings a limited Dark Shadow Edition finish to one of TAMA’s most established pedal designs, combining a textured matte surface with the familiar feel of the Iron Cobra 600 platform. The high-temperature baked coating creates a subtle patterned texture that adds grip underfoot while maintaining smooth, balanced motion through the stroke. A reversible Duo Glide cam allows quick switching between Rolling Glide and Power Glide responses, while a Speedo-Ring rocker cam with a built-in bearing and a redesigned hinge help reduce friction and improve footboard precision. Built with a double chain drive derived from the Iron Cobra 900 series, the pedal delivers stable power transfer and controlled response for both practice and live playing. Duo Glide Cam With Adjustable Playing Response. The Duo Glide cam gives the Iron Cobra 600 its defining flexibility, allowing drummers to switch between two distinct response curves without changing pedals. In Rolling Glide mode, the round cam provides a smooth, even stroke that supports consistent timing and controlled articulation. Switching to Power Glide introduces an offset shape that increases acceleration at the end of the stroke, adding weight and attack to each hit. This ability to move between response styles makes it easier to match the pedal to different musical situations, from steady grooves to more aggressive playing, while maintaining a familiar feel underfoot. Low-Friction Motion With Stabilized Drive Design. The pedal’s motion is supported by a Speedo-Ring rocker cam with a built-in ball bearing, replacing traditional nylon components to reduce friction and keep the stroke fluid. TAMA’s spring system maintains consistent tension and return speed, helping preserve balance and timing during extended playing. A redesigned hinge improves the connection between footboard and drive system, translating foot movement directly into beater response. Combined with the Iron Cobra 600 Duo Glide’s double chain drive, the design delivers stable, accurate motion with a controlled, responsive feel. Single bass drum pedal with Dark Shadow finish and adjustable response Duo Glide cam switches between smooth stroke and increased acceleration Double chain drive supports stable power transfer and consistent motion Speedo-Ring rocker cam with bearing reduces friction during operation Spring Tight system maintains consistent spring alignment and response Redesigned hinge improves footboard control and durability Textured finish adds grip and maintains consistent foot placement. Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Double Bass Drum Pedal Blackout Edition

Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Double Bass Drum Pedal Blackout Edition

Pre-Owned Gear & B-Stock. Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Double Bass Drum Pedal – Blackout Edition. Limited Edition Black Out Iron Cobra 900 Bass Drum Double Pedal One of the most celebrated and esteemed bass drum pedals in the world, Tama’s Iron Cobra has set the standard through dedication to three key principles: Smoothness, stability, and adjustability. After more than 20 years of constantly proving itself in service to numerous drummers worldwide, the Iron Cobra continues to evolve and lead the industry in quality, innovation, and design. The Iron Cobra HP900PWN Power Glide is a twinkick drum pedal for the serious player. The pedals’ solid foundationcan be attributed to its Super Stabilizer design that incorporates a wider base plate and frame for absolute stability. At each pedal’s heel, the specially designed 3-piece Hinge Guard Block provides a more durable hinge point and also lengthens the footboard for increased leverage. At the heart of the Iron Cobra is the Power Glide cam, which has been upgraded to the lighter, smoother, more natural feeling “LiteSprocket” design. This cam is an offset double-chained Power Glide cam, which accelerates the stroke powerfully as it travels toward the bass drum head. The Speedo-Ring rocker cam is yet another example of streamlining, eliminating spring friction with a high quality built-in ball bearing rocker. The Quick-Hook spring attachment eliminates wobbling, provides maximum power transmission to the Speedo-Ring, and helps facilitate quicker setup. To further improve speed and beater stroke action, the adjustable Cobra Coil spring-return constantly works to push the footboard back to its original position, tightening the relationship between player’s foot and the pedal. Perhaps one of the most ingenious developments of the HP900PWN is its Swivel Spring Tight tension locking mechanism, which is designed to rock or “swivel, ” allowing freer spring movement and a smoother overall feel. The smartly redesigned Power-Strike Cobra Beater provides a fatter, yet more focused sound and optimizes beater action for strong, precise impact. Finally, the Iron Cobra brings an end to makeshift methods of trying to protect the bass drum hoop: the Para-Clamp II Pro holds the pedal securely to the bass drum hoop withoutscratching it or slipping, thanks to an enlarged rubber padded clamp piece. The Iron Cobra HP900PWN includes a custom hardshell carrying case for safe transport. Power Glide Cam. LiteSprocket. Quick-Hook spring attachment. Cobra Coil return spring. Speedo-Ring rocker cam. Swivel Spring Tight tension post. Power-Strike Cobra Beater. Para-Clamp II Pro. 3pc Hinged Guard block. Super Stabilizer Design. Hard shell Carrying Case included.
