TAMA HP910LSW Speed Cobra 910 Double Bass Drum Pedal Black & copper EDITION
TAMA Speed Cobra Double bass pedal – Copper EDITION w/case I’ve owned this double pedal for roughly 12 years. Its been through a lot of practice but never gigged with it. Its a great double pedal, has quality hardware all blacked out and this model featured copper hardware along with the black. Reason for sale: I’m doing a double bass drum x 2 single pedal setup soon so I don’t really have use for this pedal anymore. Key issues you will see a lot of wear and scuff marks along the footboard and some of the copper along the foot boards are faded. I believe that was the original design but its also to note – its fading more than how it was intended to look. Some of the parts, like the drive shaft might need some lubrication and strength to remove. I took the best photos I could addressing this. The right pedal has the drive fixture that’s stuck. Its suppose to be removable. I tried using WD40 and so far even with a wretch and other tools I couldn’t finagle it loose. I didn’t wanna break it so I hope who ever buys this can either fix it or knows better than I do about pedal hardware. (4th picture is the fixture) Another thing to note – the mini screws I believe are called M3’3 or M3’6s those might need to be replaced as they’ve created an indentation on the right side of the shaft. You might need to file that down and get replacement screws so they hold. So far the drive hasn’t come loose on me but I had to slightly torque that side of those little mini screw bits. 5th picture in the reel, shows these screws. There’s two per side of the shaft The original copper drum key is missing unfortunately. The case does come with the pedal.
